About this calculator

Formula

Reorder point = daily sales × lead time + safety stock. EOQ = √(2 × annual demand × order cost ÷ holding cost).

Example

Selling 20 units a day with a 7-day lead time and 3 days of safety stock gives a reorder point of 200 units.

Common questions

What is safety stock?
